The President of the Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib, Shiromani Panth Ratan Baba Iqbal Singh ji, met the Vice President of India, Mr. Venkaiah Naidu, in his offices at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi and handed over to him a copy of his book “Sikh Faith – An Epitome of Inter Faith for Divine Realization”. On this occasion, the Vice President lauded the 94-year-old Baba Iqbal Singh for establishing a chain of 129 Akal academies, including two universities, for the rural people through Kalgidhar Trust. On this occasion Mr Ravinderpal Singh Kohli, Dr. Neelam Kaur, Dr. Harcharan Singh Dhaliwal Vice-Chancellor, Eternal University, Baru Sahib. Dr. Gurmel Singh Vice Chancellor, Akal University Talwandi Sabo and Bibi Charanjit Kaur were present.
